1. 1911 Grips - Cocobolo & NEW! Double Diamond Checkered Cocobolo

Cocobolo is a tropical hardwood from Central America. It is known to change color after being cut, lending to its appeal. The heartwood is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood, while the sapwood is a creamy yellow, contrasting sharply with the heartwood.

2. NEW! 1911 Grips - Afzelia Burl

The Afzelia hardwood comes from Southeast Asia. Over the past few years, it has become increasingly difficult to get them especially in the burl form. High figure burl in Afzelia is now rare. They have swirly, unpredictable grain patterns that are orange to golden brown to lustrous yellow red, somewhat like the Amboyna Burl in structure. Their natural edge bark inclusions & internal voids may be present and are not considered defects. I applied a special resin on the surface to protect the grips & give them a deep varnish look. You will not be disappointed. Limited stock!
